I dreamed a dream
the other night
and from my fear
I did take flight
A sound of silence
did fill the air
and filled with wonder
my eyes did peer
I told myself
I dare not look
for at this sight
my soul it shook
Let it pass
I did scream
Let it pass
this awful dream
And still this vision
this horried sight
It stayed with me
throughout the night
It filled my sleep
with deepest dread
upon my fear
from which it fed
For this sight
that I behold
It's unknown terror
and breath so cold
It came to me
while I slept
Into my dreams
this night it crept
