Your candle is still burning bright

Contributed by Oceandreamer on Sunday, 21st August 2005 @ 06:30:28 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

The day you left I closed that chapter of my life. I just wanted to forget, but little did I know My love for you grew stronger and stronger; you stayed on for so much longer living on within my heart. No one said it would be easy, and the burning heartache the toughest part. It wouldnt leave me alone. You kept me awake at night couldnt call my dreams my own. Its been daysmonths gone by, and your candles still burning bright The day you left I closed that chapter of my life. I just wanted to forget, but little did I know my love for you would grow.

Great write.......... I think in life we take to many things for granted, we don't really relize how much we love someone untll they have gone away..........

This is a great write. I know the feeling of
unwanted irony in life. It's ironic that when
the person that we love leaves us, that's the
time when we learn to love them the most.

Keep writing!
