"Go to school, get good grades"
"Do as your told"
Is what'd they say
There were times when you wanted out,
But they wouldnt let you leave.
They stood thier ground.
Took you to church,
And put you in school.
They even bought you that real nice pool.
With you through highs and lows
No matter where in life you go.
Its uncondtional and always shows.

I am dissatified about one thing in your poem, it is too short. Perfect but 1 or2 stanzas short. |
