An extension cord Reaching from the moon to the earth Connecting the gaps Which bypasses the flat Surface of time and space Certain of a face thats mine to taste
A bulldozer flattens my home Fertilized seeds Molten tar bleeds Making concrete The grass that was once so soft under my feet
A pistol A shot, a shooter The one time believer Jammed, was the revolver Evolved into a massacre Sexual It was put inside of her Oppositional Left a conqueror Coincidental was the pleasure A quiver Through the spine of her Should she shiver Hypothermia Will deliver The death she prays for in the dead of winter
Based on a true story In all its shame and all which is unholy Even in glory The fake The phony Pick up the phone It only you calling

These types of poems are always hard to read because you want to wring the person's neck who does wrong in them. |

The title was the part that caught my eye for this poem. Keep up the good writing. SLipSiX. Love the moon. |

I take it as a literal rape of time and days-
if not ...(i>I apologize
time is moving waywardly and faster
than the speed of common sense..
It's what it says to me-
(save for the fact a woman is afoot..lol)
I love it either way-
