hopeless
worthless
nobody
nothing
these four words
spin
like a twisted whirlpool
consuming my mind
consuming my thoughts
chewing me up
then spitting me right back out
over and over
it happens again
the cycle of my life
can anybody see?
does anybody know?
my questions always left unanswered
maybe i should just give up
& stop looking for reasons
let it just continue the cycle
consuming me in its spiteful maze
never letting go of its wrath
and forever waiting for that simple answer:
why?

Its a great write!
I too, have been through it and once in a while these thoughts still come back, like you said,"like a twisted whirlpool
consuming my mind
consuming my thoughts
chewing me up
then spitting me right back out
over and over"
