Growing Distance

Contributed by ToriVeigh on Friday, 26th August 2005 @ 09:12:06 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

My heart hardly beats
Waiting for the next fall
My stomach churns and heats
I wish youd just call

I dont understand
I only feel the loss
No touch of your hand
With me, you seem cross

Theres been no falling out
Have you met another?
Whats it all about?
Whats happened to my lover?

Why cant you just tell me?
What is it that youve lost?
A helper, I could be
Just for you, at no cost

You know how I feel
I hope thats not the problem
My fate you may seal
A flower, no longer to blossom

My heart is tied to you
Without you it has no purpose
Have you not a clue,
Why Ive become so anxious?

Slowly it develops
Each time you hold back
The emptiness which envelops
Intimacy starts to lack

I feel the withdrawing
Probably from the start
By the time I see where youre going,
I can spare not the injury to my heart!

What is going on?
I just dont get it!
Why have you gone?
To whom or what belongs the credit?

The slow tearing is unbearable
I only want to cry
To you, am I not lovable?
Please dont say goodbye!!!!

I wish I had words to help you get through this but I don't. The pain of lost love is very hard to bear.

I literally feel exactly the same way.
I'll pray for yours to work out as well as mine.
Just hold on, okay?

Love and peace,

Chelsea
