The Best Things In Life

The best things in life are free
There is no cost or fee
For the sun to rise every morn
Or the light show of a storm
Theres no cost associated with a smile
No fee to walk a country mile
No toll to enjoy a flower's beauty
No admission price to a natures movie
No amount of money can buy a rainbow
No currency can make it glow
Theres no tax on family gatherings
No cost of license on babies' chattering
No lay-a-ways needed for the gift of sight
No deposits for the claim of night
No dollars needed for a childs love
No amusement fee to catch lighting bugs
Cause the best things in life are free
God gave them unselfishly
To be enjoyed and to be loved
A stunning gift from above
No rich man has more than the poor
For these things cant be bought in a store
They are simply free for the taking
For a wonderful life in the making

You worded this poem brilliantly and said what is so true....
...a smile is worth more than money can give and the love that surrounds families is more precious than money....

Simple and so true. I think all should read this and heed to what you have written. because , so many resort, to thinking they can by ones LOVE..........nope.......and if you can, then what do you really have?! FAKE.........Loved this alot.!
