Wishes are like drops of sun we long to be caressed by them. We crave the gentle heat and risk the searing burn.
Would that I could stay inside where milky white I try to hide.
Alas, I must dare to venture to live, to love, to trust.
I'll bare my soul and risk the scars. I know now that it is fear that brings us harm. And so I give myself to you naked, and waiting for your warmth.

I am mad that I am the first person to comment on this. This is really good! It is very poetic.
Take care.
