Oh what a gift a gift of a child
to have and to hold with a laugh
and a smile,
Precious the moments so rare
and so few the gift of a child is
born unto you. A blessing from
God to have and to hold, Love
her and charish her all the days
through for when she was born
it was a blessing come true.
Oh what a gift a gift of a child
to have and to hold with a laugh
and a smile.
Months have gone quickly she
now knows how to laugh soon
she will be crawling and walking
is next.
