Truth be told, Ive done all I can
Perseverance, oh, what a long and bitter fight
So fragile, this heart. Give it time said a wise man.
Time is not on my side, not tonight.
Determination, oh, what a journey this has been
So compelling, your words, such a charming smile
Charming but deadly, take me, captivate me again
The way you make me feel, I forgot for a while
So entrancing, your appeal, its what Ive been missing
Doesnt get me far, but it instills the dream of fate.
Had myself fooled for a while, still hopeless and reminiscing
Now, help me release this heavy heart and all of its weight.
