There's something on your mind.
Let me guess,
heartkess gossip
that has nothing to do with you
at all?
So what are you
going to do with it,
spread it around town
to every one
who dislikes her
even though you know
it's a lie?
Does it hurt
to know
that you carry more weight
on your shoulders,
than ever?
How does it feel
when she tells you
she loves you
and that you are
the only one
she can trust?
So what do you do next?
Do you tell her another lie
to make things sound right
because that's how you
want it to be
or do you tell her the truth,
the one that'll ruin
your friendship
and haunt you
for the rest of your life?
