I hold my breath to scream
out loud
I am so hot so cold
Like a lifeless kiss
on the lips
Where he touched her last
I will not go
to him
to be used, to be sold
I was a pawn
an indecent figure
in my own addictions
He played the needle
and lust
was the tourniquet
so tight like
our bodies
entwined
neverending heat
of the moment where
I broke,
my screams
so silent and
tears so
vulnerable
as I crossed the
state of panic
eyes a morbid
color
voice as even
as ever
yet mind
so tortured so
strained as the insides bleed
and he holds me only
to go farther
where I cannot tread
the pain so Dark and new
and Angel's breath in my ear
whispers "The Absence
is love." and I give
