Lost in him

Contributed by SimplyAlucia on Wednesday, 31st August 2005 @ 02:23:20 PM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

To love one is a given
But to love two should be a sin

I love my man beyond words
But a lost love boils deep within

There is no love like the first
Long after he is gone you crave for him
Like a hunger or an unbarable thirst

No matter what you do he stays on your mind
Torn between two men
It is so unfair
I never knew love could be so unkind

Some nights i lie awake thinking of him
Wondering what it would be like if we were still a couple

We would most likely scream and fight
Just like we always did
Nothing ever turned out right

We'd fight about my dad
Or his borthers
Sometimes my sisters
God i miss what we had

Okay so maybe we weren't perfect
But i don't know anybody that is

Besides it's just memories
Let me remember them
We'll never be together again
But i'll always be lost in him

  • Wow, this was pretty amazing work.

    I found this line:
"But I'll always be lost in him",
to be quite a powerful one..

Memories are too dear to be left behind.

~KayT (and yes, welcome back indeed!)
