One Right After The Other

Contributed by Kie-Kie on Thursday, 1st September 2005 @ 11:51:01 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

One right after the other
They set themselves up for heartache
Walking upon broken glass
To be sent back with more pain than they can take

One right after the other
They line up for the fall
To ask a daring question
Only to be sent home barely able to crawl

One right after the other
They take a fast, steep dive
Off the ledge that they built up
Only to feel like they're barely alive

One right after the other
They lay their hearts on the line
Wishing, hoping, praying
That they'll recieve something divine

One right after the other
I have to tell them no
It's a fact I'll always hate
But I'm afraid it must be so

Because one right after the other
Every guy before
Made up a new torture
To hurt me a little more

((((((((((((Kie-Kie))))))))))) such wisdom and such hurt and so deserving of love and so shall u receive it in time my friend in time till
then protect that heart of yours, your well on your way and don't even know yet, but he will
and one day amidst all the evil, you shall be
triumphant over love. . .

You hit this nail on the head.

This is why I stand on the sidelines and spend my time observing; one of its better uses.

Nicely done!

Yup this is true. We could be evil if we wanted to. Were not saying we do it all the time but we do get bad sometimes LOL.

A lovely honest write Kielapoo. It's good to see your poems again.

Hugs,
Jane~
