You grew ill and weak
you ended up in the hospital
They sedated you and said
that you might not make it.
You slipped away four days later
without saying goodbye...
In the newspaper and on TV
was a story of a fatal car crash
You were in it
with three of your friends
Your friends survived
but you slipped away...
Muscular Dystrophy limited you
you were becoming weaker
You weren't in school one day
we all thought you were sick
The next day we were told
that you slipped away...
These are the people
I have lost this year
But i will never forget them
forever in my heart they'll stay
