The Song

Contributed by Doriens_Picture on Monday, 5th September 2005 @ 02:00:00 AM in AEST
Topic: StoryPoetry

Part one

He stands in front of a crowd
Playing his heart out on his guitar
Playing the song he wrote for her
His fingers start to bleed
Down the strings and to the ground
But no one notices no one stops to listen
Or even turns a head but he doesnt care
He is playing just for her
Even if she cant hear him he wont stop

Part Two

She had spent all day crying again
No one noticed her or so she thought
No one went to give her a kind word
She needed to be shown some one cares
She went home and her family was fighting
So she ran upstairs before they could
Find out she was home to take it out on her
Locked the door to her room
And then the one in the bath room
She got her razor out and started slashing away
She cut too deep this time and
Just rested her head on the toilet seat
Closed her eyes and went to sleep

Part three

Hours went by
The sun had disappeared into the clouds
The moon was not in sight yet
No one on the crowd had noticed him
But others had come to play
Others who accepted who they were
And what he wanted to do
So they played with him
They played that song for her
But no one noticed, no one cared
Nothing could get them to stop
Not until she heard the song
And then he saw her
Torn apart and broken down
Her eyes tearing
And knees on the ground

Part Four

The moon was out and the stars were kissing
The snow had fallen and they were not even fazed
Nothing could get them to stop playing
They were playing the song so loud and hard
But no one cared, no one noticed
But they did not care she had to hear the song
They would not stop playing until
He gets down on his knees closes his eyes
And keeps on playing the song
Minutes pass he opens his eyes and sees her
Broken down on her knees
And so he puts his guitar down and goes to her
But the rest of them keep playing

Part five

She opened her eyes
And saw her wrist the bleeding had stopped
She stood up and looked into the mirror
She tried to wash the blood away
But could not wash it off
She put her hands in the water again
And put them to her face
She tried to wash the streams
That the mascara left behind when she cried
She always looked so beautiful when she cried
But it would not wash off so she dried her self off
On her way down she saw her father beating on her mom
She tried to stop him but it was as if she was not even there
So she went outside to find help
Then the police lights were in sight
She knew it was for her parents
So she just went for a walk
It was snowing but she did not feel cold
She did not feel anything at all and wondered why
But she just kept on walking
She passed people on the street
They did not even give her a dirty look
She was used to them doing so and calling her names
Slut, whore, tramp
Some had even tried to buy a night with her
But she never could be bought
She walked for miles and did not feel tired
She walked to the busiest street she could find
There was a crowd of people but no one noticed her
So she broke out in tears and fell to her knees
It was such a sad sight but no one noticed, no one cared
Or so she thought

Part Six

He went to her as the band played on
When at her side he went to his knees
She raised her eyes from the ground
Looked at him and then she knew
All the blood started to fade away
The makeup cleared and she was more
Beautiful than ever, so much like an Angel
He took her hand and they floated away
When they came back down he got his guitar
And he played the song for her
For the first time in her life she felt noticed
For all the right reasons by the right one
And she was happy
He was happy to play that song for her
Everything was covered by snow
But they were as warm as could be
The music filled the night time sky
And everyone could now hear it
They all looked up at them
What an amazing sight
Everyone saw how beautiful she was
They band played on
The song started to fade
And with it them
Until the song was over
And there was nothing left
But the tears in the people's eyes
And the look of awe upon their faces
For they did not know what they had seen
But I know
For I was the guy and you were the girl
Two souls dead to their world
Until the day we died
The end

an amazing story, espcially the end, the imagery was beautiful, snow falling cold, but a feeling of warmth, a musical melody i can not even begin to imagine playing in the background, and two angels meant for eachother floating in midst of it all, great write.

A great selection of write. I love the simplicity of it all.

Although, I just noticed you don't use punctuation on your writes. Do you do that normally?

LOL I know I'm being nosy, so ignore me.

Jane~
