Radical reconstructive surgery The painting that once glittered is dim with pity
Towers that once stood higher than its peers Giving definition and structure to the drop of a tear
Skin so soft, hairless without the rough A face worn from the sun and the years in the dust
Friends that fell away into a memory of trust and love Recapturing the innocence of a first touch from the tongue
It is the present moment that aches in my head Knowing of yesterdays and ignorant of what comes after instead

Very interesting, to say the least. I do like it, please don't misunderstand me. It's just I'm a little dim sometimes. :) |
