Love, is my grandchildren now in my heart
They fill me with joy never will they part
They give me a hug when I need one so bad
They make me feel happy when I am sad
My eyes now do twinkle, I am so swift
Since God gave me, the most beautiful gift
The gift of love that fills my heart so deep
Of the innocence of my grandchildren, as I watch them sleep
My heart is so full of love for them as they grow
Watching them playing, showing what they know
Looking in their eyes as they learn something new
The excitement and pleasure is given to me too!!
My heart now beats stronger for I am a part of them
There is no greater joy, there is no bigger gem
Than the precious joys that my grandchildren give
Has allowed me to love, allowed me to live
Since they entered my heart I have continued to shine
I thank the Lord everyday that the Grandchildren are mine
Forever I will adore these precious gifts of love
That has been given to me from God up above !!!!!
