Paper Angel ~~~~~ I tore you out of the newspaper Your smiley, happy face Then I looked around the room For just the right place To hang you for the viewing For everyone to see Just what a lovely lady You turned out to be
Your eyes tell the story Of a happy little girl As you pose for the picture In your dress of many frills Being recognized for your birthday Today you turned seven Something as cute as you Must have come from heaven
Ill cherish this paper angel Until the real one I can hold Ill smother your face with kisses If I could be so bold Happy birthday my dear darling May you be blessed with many more Your whole world awaits you There is so much it has in store
