Beauty turned to ashes When she came that day No one knew the power Of Katrina, that hurricane
An ocean of eyes Cryin for help Scared and afraid They may not live to tell
She took their homes And the future they planned But she'll never take What's in the heart of man
Dreams washed away But Faith,Hope and Love still remains In the heart of the victims Of Katrina, that hurricane
Many vials of prayers Reach Heavens' door Many more to go up To Jesus Our Lord
America cares So we must do our duty We'll take the Ashes Replace them with Beauty
