won't you see while i'm alive
all the things i tried to hide
artwork, clay and all that's grey
and maybe even see me fade
canvas blue with this and you
dabs of black to hide what's true
i love you Hate... don't you ever make me wait
let me paint her sleeping late
all this booze and paint is blue
i'm drowning in drunk thoughts of you
I love this girl who makes me numb
who makes me paint inside a gun
bang! and paint of red on walls
love you girl, but heaven calls
i've got to work... got to paint
madness waits for nothing quaint
all my dreams of God and love?
were just nightmares my heart thought of..
let me sleep.. please let me grieve
yesterday is dead...

WOW!! This is intense Dwayne! You are truly more impressive with each post...I love your use of colours to feelings in this piece. You are getting quite good at the abstract : )
Each stanza really stood on its own, but I will go with the third as my fave...but it's tough! lol
