See past all governmental propaganda, demand to know their true
agenda.
Demitherise the myth that living in the ghetto
Means living like the ghetto.
Rather encourage the notion that
upliftment is in motion,
causing the germination of hope, giving others the strength
to cope,
being the rope that saves humankind from drowning in a sea of negativity.
Take pride in your culture,
dont be a vulture of identiterical abduction,
portraying a false persona, not being true to yourself.
but you gotta know theres always gonna
be those who be acting like
the thorn on a rose, those who compose
of the underachieved,
those who dont believe that greatness can be achieved,
blaming the streets,
not realising the streets aint nothing but a cover that hover over them,
nothing but a lame excuse they use
for their condition of continuous repetition,
celebrating their eternal demise,
defending their offenders.
they despise you while they really wanna be you.
So all you gotta do is to be true to yourself
and uncover the wealth,
enjoy the reward of your suffering,
the Lord God wont overlook your offering,
in the end you will get what you deserve.
