-OH- -What vile creatures we are-
Masticating the flesh of animals to fill our bellies Only to urinate and defecate the remnants of the event
Mucous and blood line internal organs and passages And leaks, drips or emanates from every pore and opening
Germs, bacteria's, viruses, parasites and more Harbor in, feed from and even breed while in our bodies
Fungi, hair, growths and all manner of unwanted things Attach, sprout, or grow from the outer shell and surfaces
-YET- -What Magnificent Creatures We Are-
With an ability to visualize, dream, design and create We have thoughts so vivid that any concept imaginable is also achievable
The fluid movements we can train our bodies to make With timing and coordination so exact as to be the measure of perfection
Through thought and reasoning we are able to predict Circumstances and their outcome with exceptional precision
An Immortal Spirit temporarily mortal, embodied in flesh and bones We are each unique in our own similarities to every other human being
-STILL- -We Are Driven By Wants And Desires Sometimes Unobtainable-
Some are handicapped but choose to succeed in spite of any limit set upon them While others who are challenged in any way find excuses for their failure
Some are happy to find the next sunrise or friend While others complain and protest about societies every decision
Some make others feel good and help those in need While others enjoy hurting and making life miserable for all around them
Some struggle with every problem and somehow overcome them While others create even more problems for themselves and others purposefully
-LIFE- -As We Have Chosen It, Is What We Are Living Right Now-
Some find solace in this journey known as life While others feel the world owes them something or everything
Whatever the reason for your mortal voyage this time around Remember that everyone has chosen to come here
We were not coerced, required, influenced or tricked into it It was free will and so is the out come of this existence
However, if you wish to blame someone or perhaps thank them They are as close to you as the nearest mirror

"It was free will and so is the out come of this existence"
Isn't suicide a cardinal sin? Or, more likely, are you saying that not life itself, but rather what you get out of it, is what we choose? I have always believe that there is no such thing as why, but only choice and what is so... but this comment isn't about me, is it!
The image this poem, the last poem, and your personal information gives me is of a genial Friar or traveling monk who is walking a path of gathering and dispensing a study on the soul. A heavy, difficult, and ongoing crusade. Anyway, keep writing, and have faith that someone, somewhere will read it, like it, and probably do something about it.
P.S. If hindsight is 20/20, what do we know in-between life?
