This isnt the first time this has happened
They left me feeling alone and defeated
Why does it seem Im always the victim?
Have they chosen me?
Have they broken me?
I dont think so
Its my time to shine
Through the darkness I will prevail
Ravishing my enemies while crimson reigns
The time has come
Blackened eyes and bruised ribs
Dont they care about what theyve done?
Taunted and tormented by lies
Trying to destroy me
Have they succeeded?
I dont think so
Its my time to shine

Theyve tried in vain to kill me
But I dont think they have succeeded
What they have set out to do
Ive put up too good a fight
This isnt the first time Ive escaped the light
