This is what feels like the long awaited goodbye.
While the tears keep flowing, I scream why even try?
So send your prayers in hopes of my return.
Why the change? Youve never been concerned.
Sweet departure, before you bid me farewell.
Tell them all everything I could never tell.
How bad it hurts to just stand everyday.
How I looked so confident, but was so afraid.
Why I kept trying though all hope was destroyed.
Why I always seemed to lay wake with a huge void.
As I scream out every word, theres nothing left to yell.
So, sweet departure, bid me the final farewell.
