I'm in its grasp with its hands around my neck it wants me to take my last breath but giving in is just too easy
Fighting back seems simple until it stops every attempt to move it's reading my mind I fear of no escape
I take a breath to clear my mind it closes in, to take me away I throw my arms around it and hold on tight if I am going to die it's coming with me
Now it fears me and it tries to push me away I close my eyes in fear of what's next I open my eyes......
.... and I'm the only one there

A somewhat sombre poem, which was obviously the intention. Very good..
Before you become so good at dark poetry to the exclusion of all other forms, why not have a go at a funny one? Like a clerihew or a twongue tister or something..lol Keep writing girl !
