" Silence"
This computer has been my trusted friend
through email after email till the end,
Ups and downs, highs and lows,
the words like still water flows.
But through it all I now face,
the harsh reality my life does trace,
My marriage is over after many years
and all that's left are unshed tears.
These scars I will carry forever in my heart
sure they will stop me before I start
on any new endeavor that involves total trust
lock it all away,this I know I must.
so what is left is just a shell with no soul
a woman raising her child as her only goal
a ghost, a shadow of innocence lost
my spark in life has been the cost.

| such sad poetry. it rhymes nicely and is easy to followyet creates quite an impact on the reader. sorry for what happened. |

Interesting way you put it... Telling your disappointment to a computer... I hope the computer is a symbol of people on-line as well...LOL
Seriousely, divorced myself not long ago and I can sympathize...

I am sorry for your unhappiness. I have been through the same thing many years ago. You will get through it and become a stronger person because of it. Just concentrate on your child and career and you won't have time to be lost and lonely for long.

| Good write. Coming from divorced parents it will take awhile for you to move on w/somebody new but you will and you will be happy again even if it may take awhile for you to find him. Good write and thanks for sharing enjoyed reading |
