The Things I Love

Contributed by sheaa on Wednesday, 14th September 2005 @ 10:39:36 PM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

I love sleeping in the middle of the day
I live for the things that you rarely say
And if I could I'd fly away to yesterday
Just to do it all again

(verse)
Long drives to nowhere
Discussing our love life and how we don't care
I'll stick my head out the window and scream at the tops of my lungs
Just to feel that adrenaline rush

(chorus)
I love sleeping in the middle of the day
I live for the things that you rarely say
And if I could I'd fly away to yesterday
Just to do it all again

(verse)
Oreos and chocolate milk with my best girlfriends
Sitting at the kitchen table, it's now 2 am
And w'ere still laughing at the things you said
Because you only wish you laughed as loud as us

The beach at night
The way we fight
Guitar solos and love letters
Breaking the rules and not knowing better
Living on the edge
Just because we can
Finally making it through
And just being with youu

(chorus)
I love sleeping in the middle of the day
I live for the things that you rarely say
And if I could I'd fly away to yesterday
Just to do it all again
Just to do it all again

how encouraging to hear that you enjoy life. I'm guessing that the tune would be more on the bubble gum popish side which is not always bad.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
