From the very first day when I approached you,
or you approached me,
or we approached one another
I knew our love would be like no other
The kind of love that is so deep,
that you'd go around the world to seek
The kind of love at the top of its peak
The kind of love you'd die to keep
I knew you loved me when you said you'd wait for life
Then you combined our lives by making me your wife
You showed me a love that would never go cold,
a love that would last past the age of old
I love when you love me by holding me tight,
by reassuring me that you'd be there long through the night
By not dismissing arguements,
you secure a future better than what I'd ever dreamt
You love me by being my friend,
because even though it's dark in my tunnel
I see you, my light, at the end
So today I'll honor and love you,
for richer and poorer,
for sickness and health,
and I hope death never tears us apart
As long as we both shall live,
to you, my heart, I'll give
I love you, and I can love you, becuase I know you
love me
