Within' his dreams; he is sleeping light
for all dear passions; our love runs bright,
his love is not in my sunny sun's sharing
alas his day my night; all is done by caring,
he writes me letters; ahhhhhh the sweetest
gives my heart; his best melodious dearest,
deep feelings we have worn upon our sleeves
kindred spirits found now; who go on believing,
love in other's heart's; as ours; may never grow
what we are ever sharing, they may never know,
oh, he is far away; yet my soul is ever clearer
yet his heart, soul, and mind; are ever nearer,
I love him with a love; as I have only dream seen
our love flows all around us; betwix and between.
