Why Wish Write

Contributed by ladyfawn on Friday, 17th January 2003 @ 10:40:00 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

I wish for words that speak to me
then I write what's become a part of me, you see; or
get a feeling in my soul who knows not me where end or start
all comes from deep within' my heart,
my love from far away may whisper me dreams
when I hear them spoken this inspires my heart it seems
though lately the heart has been so dark and musty
used to keep all my poems in a trunk so dark dusty
...'she wears her shades' it matters not if it be spring...
in deep,
oh, winter when people say the weather stinks, it heartens me
there is no better feeling to me than being secluded from the rest of the world
the constalations in their beauty shine
and darkness can touch this heart of mine,
when I reflect up here upon my life
it comes to me and flows so nice...
hide behind a beautiful denying face no more
must let these saved up things out the door

...door on my soul is wide open...

Nessa, this is beautiful. Winter constellations gleaming, doors opening, and a wondrous soul opening. Beautiful!
