remembering my leaving the sticks all in a row i thought, like crayons in a box, don't you know the pretty brass and buttons do show it's to make you a team, don't you know all decked out to fight, so off you go destiny awaits you, don't you know you're too poor, even if you realize, so going to defend the rich, don't you know momma cried and daddy wouldn't, don't you know they've given up, don't you know last to chance to know their child, an all-time low their baby will never return, don't you know the body may survive the hate and bullets, though but mind certainly will not, don't you know be afraid, no matter if it's not your time to go the dollared will have his way, don't you know his child will remain safe behind the dough your mind and body will keep it so, don't you know your friends now dying will be quite a blow daddy's child is late for tennis, don't you know it's for a better life for all, THEY said so but when was it ever yours, do you know

A Very touching write. The repetition was just right and the messgae itself - incredibly powerful, moving and simply heart-wrenching. I love it, and of course, I agree. Thanks for sharing.
Take Care
