Why cannot I see The good inside of me, Sins seem so real inside Make me wanna cry and hide
An uphill battle I have fought Against all the truly debauched, A tough time it was for all A lot of it I do not recall
Once a prisoner of the beast Salvation through the priest, Hardy times I have lived Thanks to the Lord I do give
The rollercoaster ride has stopped And now it is time to get off

A moving evocation of the struggle - how familiar it is to me!
A blessing on your road.
