My friend a statue His fixed stare, never turns, never blinks A hollow body, filled with air A single tap, he tells me why His only secret His only regret Hes not really there Understood, yet overlooked An aged expression Regardless of time Something hed know If he were a man His sadness is hidden By an authors touch Who realized, hes perfect I know how he feels An expressionless gaze I bow my head, because he cannot To a world who forgot Hes only a statue, of a man.

This is a good write. It is as though you are speaking for someone who can not speak for his or her self. You do a good job at it too. Great imagery |
