Dark Clouds

The skies are clear and the air is warm
Though a dark cloud hovers in my mind
The sun is shining bright
But it hasn't lit up my life in a long time
I can't stop thinking of what went wrong
And why I believed him for so long
It had only been a short time when he told me he'd always be there
Yet within a day, he went away
And his feelings vanished into thin air
Once again I thought I'd found the one for me
And that happiness would fulfill my life
But once again my heart was shreaded
By the cold blade of the knife
There's no explination to why things changed
And there rarely ever is
Each day that I wake up, every thought is only his
"Love" can mean so many things
But never what intended
Most people who use it, are often pretendin
A tear fell from my eye today
In a memory of what we shared
The storm then faded from my mind
As I began to realize he never cared!

great job...i always think i fund the "one" but then i get hurt.. i know its a bad feeling but you gotta try to hold your head high...you'll find a guy for you im sure of it!
