Wandering

Contributed by highly_flammable on Wednesday, 21st September 2005 @ 09:47:25 PM in AEST
Topic: fantasy

Running as fast as I can
With the wind whipping my face
I come upon a room
Where a man will endlessly pace

No stars in the universe
No moon shining bright
Nothing to light my way
On this damnable plight

And here is another
A very large and grand space
With crystals and polished tables
And gold plates at each place

Here I must wander
For sins in my past
Running, flying by rooms
I pray this doesn't last

I come by a hall
A corridor of sorts
Filled with racks and racks
Of only the best tasting ports

I run in inky blackness
Where no light dares shine
I take the curse unwillingly
Into this life of mine

Interesting. But, to me anyway, it feels unfinished.

Perhaps a fitting title will materialize if you continue to develop this piece?

Keep it up.

Andrew
