i warned you
but you didnt listen
you made me who i am
now you cant handle me
im outta control
no way to help
i took a swig
you told me know
i laughed at you
when you thought i wouldnt
you made me who i am
now u cant stop me
it only takes a second
before im in your face
in the blink of an eye
i could be gone
whats wrong with me
i asked myself
but no reply
you made me who i am
and now you cant control me
too much freedom
not enough encouragement
you thought i was capable
i knew i wasnt
stress got to me
i said fare well
you made me who i am
now deal with whats left

I assume this is written to your parent(s). All I have to say is: I watched my older sister go through this, then I did it, then my younger, then my cousin. Of the four of us, I am the only person who managed to get their life back ontrack and in the right direction. The others are alcholics and druggies.... please, if not for you're parent(s), then for yourself... get help....
and, it's a great write.... I enjoyed it.... reminded me of myself... about... 4 years ago... |
