World Gone Grey

Everyone says that someday things will be alright
Someday I wont cry my self to sleep at night
But they just cant see
How all of this is beginning to kill me
Its wearing me down
My fake smile is transforming into this frown
I dont know what to do
You could help me if only you knew
What I went though every day
Maybe you can explain why my worlds gone grey
Some things never get better
They stay bad forever

I stare at the sky all night
And think I will never win this fight
Maybe if I had someone to hold me
To my love, he would hold the key
He would never dream of breaking my heart
And we would never desire to be apart
He and me against the world
With nothing but full hearts and our fingers together curled

My thoughts consist mainly of these dreams
But I will never fulfill them, or so it seems
Maybe someday my dreams will come true
Maybe some day I will find you
But until then
Until my life will truly begin
I will stare at the sky all night
And pray someday Ill win this fight

But until that day
My world will be gray
And I will keep thinking
While my heart continues sinking
Some things never get better
They just stay bad forever
