those thoughts

Contributed by mjh0813 on Sunday, 25th September 2005 @ 03:42:14 PM in AEST
Topic: toughstuff

those thoughts all come flooding back to me
those thoughts that make me live in misery
those thoughts that make me feel alone,
as if i dont even have a home
those thoughts that make me feel i dont belong
those thoughts that make me wonder where i went wrong
those thoughts that make me wish i knew how to show the pain behind the mask
those thoughts that maek me wish i could change the past
those thoughts that make me cry to sleep at night
those thoughts that make me want to pick up the blade and commit suicide

Thoughts:

Sometimes we need to learn how to change our fuzzy thinking which can lead to incorrect conclusions.

Some are negative ideas, perhaps being naive or just plain ignorant of why we think this way.

There are all types of self help books on correct thinking, check out some book stores, your library, or click around on the PC, to find out solutions to those problems.

If one gets to the point where their thoughts are haunting them, then its time to go check out why, with a counselor, or other professional doctor and most often they will say, especially after reading this poem, that recognition of the problem to those thoughts are already noticed, and that is good because its when one does not recognize it, then there is a definate problem.

We all have to learn to hang in there, knowing each day is a brand new start. We all have to keep ourselves busy in an activity that we can enjoy, (this is my outlet, poetry), and take the TOO much time off of your hands, get into a lively lifestyle, take a walk or get involved in a club, be it singing, or weight lifting, swimming, running, write poetry as you are, (so glad to see this write, as long as I see you writing, I will be happy,) poetry classes, to name a few. Thinking is not a bad idea, it is just when you start to think negatively about life, is when you have the problem.

A wonderful write that cries out for help, keep writing, always a message away, if you need to talk. Be well,

Raquel Leah :D

There's nothing wrong with your writing but it's very sad. It's one thing to feel like using the blade to kill yourself but just don't ever act on it.
Keep writing.
luv, huggs, prayer,

never let those kind of thoughts enter your mind. think on the bright side and try hard to write romantic or very happy poems.
