Beyond the land of time and space
within imagination
lies a world I escape to
for times of contemplation
where i can heal from hurts of men
who live in selfishness
and then come back bringing with me
love and happiness
There is a tie that can't be broken
no matter how people may try
there is a truth that can't be shrouded
no matter how much they do hide
But I will let the wind blow
in the direction it goes
to reach the shore even alone
I shall sail in my vessel til the bow breaks
I will row in my boat til it's capsized
I will swim in the ocean til my strength fails
if I have not reached the shore then i will die
Beyond the span of time and space there is a land i seek
I'll go on alone if i have to
To find fellowship fairness and peace and love
I warn you it's not an easy journey

I really like the sense of determination in this piece Archie. We all need our times of quiet contemplation, so we can build on our inner strength and push on. This is a very honest write, with positive vibes, but at the same time, being realistic with your hopes. Very well done. I especially liked the fourth stanza.

a time of quit calms the soul.This is a strong write and brings the reader to a point of wanting to keep going nomatter how hard things may seem. Our life journey is captured nicely in this peace

Well what can I add on to what everyone else has already said. An honest deep write. Life's journey is not an easy one my friend, but with inner strength and determination u can overcome anything. Keep penning my dear friend for ur life's journey has been an amazing one. Thanks so much for sharing it.
