Watching your face fall...
That was the hardest part of all
Of course I had to tell you
Would you rather me lie or tell the truth?
Please forgive me
Cant you see?
Youre the only one for me
So I stand in this room staring at you bowed head
Im barely hanging on by a thread
I never meant to hurt you so much
Im longing for just one more touch
But now it seems I will never feel your sweet embrace
Or the sensation of your fingers on my face
Now I wish I could take it all back
Please just this once cut me some slack
I swear I will never again hurt you
Please believe me this is true
I love you
Why is it that just one mistake
Can make two fragile hearts break
Why is it that no one can turn back time
And hit reverse and erase the crime
Why did fate pick me and you
To tear apart, to rip it two
And why cant you see
That youre the only one for me
