black tears stream down my face
feelings of leaving this awful place
i sit here watching time go by
wanting to spread my wings and fly
visions of death flash across my eyes
i will be of my own demise
as i fall deeper and deeper
i see signs of the dark gate keeper
his pure black eye filled with hate
looks inside my sould and reveals my fate
it feels like he took the soul right you of me
and held it for me to see
i realized what i have done
my death was not yet to come
i fall to my knees and start to cry
for no i realize i don't want to die
once again surrounded by darkness
with a flash of light i awake in up room
the darkness is gone
as black tears stream down my face

yes, the feeling of leaving corrupts us, but when taken we wish to return. many times have i felt this. i relate to you my friend. congrats on the poem, very good flow.
