I cant understand a person lending a hand
If the arm is sure to be bitten off
Whats the harm in backing off
Im not running from myself or some one else
I wont ever forget who I have forgotten to be
Whose name has been ridden
With a defeatist personality
A soulless angel
Trapped between heaven and my reality
I cant allow this chance go to waste
By embracing this sadness and loosing the pace
If its a rat race
I need to be the cat
Perched from my rooftop
Preparing for the armies to attack
With spears of poison, all I can see is the dark
The yellow turned to black
I cant let it go down just like that
I cant recall the last time I was peaceful
The last time I could sit absolutely still
Place a thought in motion and spin the wheel
I have survived this miracle
If only I could truly feel
If I could only attempt, half the adventures my mind dreamt
And say this was all worth it
It was time well spent
It was ambitious with no contempt
Just pure delicious
With no one to be upset
