Who is She The woman in the mirror How sad eyes see How tired she looks Those marks on her face They are lines woven by life
Who is She The woman in the mirror She is not just a reflection Seems like she talks Talks with her eyes What are they saying?
Who is She The woman in the mirror That stormy look I've never seen it The pain that hurts in them I can feel it in me
Who is She The woman in the mirror She can't be me I would know if I was She But something I feel The answer is in me

Sometimes we have this thing, of moving our soul outside our body and look on ourselves from the outside, as if the body n live isnt us thats living it. We tend to do that in times of hurt n sadness and when things get tough.
I love the lines:
"Seems like she talks
Talks with her eyes"
Our eyes are lil mirrors of our innerself. What words can hide, our eyes reveal.
Lovely written, I like this piece.
Huggsss,
Nats. |
