When I look at you
And see you crying
It makes my heart ache
With every tear that falls
From your pretty face
It melts my skin like acid rain
I want to say don't cry pretty girl
But the words they just won't come
I want so bad to heal your heart
But it's just so hard
So many miles away
With all these miles between us
I know silently you wonder
Why I am not there
To hear your laughter
And dry your tears
Even with so many miles between us
Soon I'll be there

Amazing, after reading all your poems, I think this is my favorite. Children usually, don't realize what they have until they've lost it, it's the same for any age really. But a mothers love is a great gift, a gift not all have but none the less, I'm sure she know's you still care, and still love her. Very heartfelt, I enjoyed reading it.
