ONE DAY
ONE DAY I will awaken
and find you there with me
Engulfed in my arms
happier we could not be
To feel your tender lips
with each passionate kiss
The two of us together
locked in heavenly bliss
How often have we dreamed
that this would come about
The thought, there in our minds
each day, without a doubt
I feel it in your words
your passion and desire
Creating, within my body
a never ending fire
This fire rages on
as each day passes by
ONE DAY it will happen
and we, will never say goodbye

Reading this piece made me feel all warm and mushy inside- a feeling I dont often get and I hat you for doing that to me! ( not really ).

| This is very good. Usually poems remind me of songs but your reminds me of a movie; the movie "Ladyhawke" is a great movie listen to some of the dialogue and you will see some similarities to the poem you have written. |
