The moon shines, burning through the trees And hovers over the silky blanket of darker crimson That the night has woven
To suddenly, wake would be quite startling As silence takes over, And shows the power it has, A power to frighten, to surprise
However, Midnight is no time to fear, As suddenly, you find youve sunk, Sunk into the depth of the night,
Eyes have no use at midnight, nor mouth, ears or nose As midnight is only were the dreamer goes.
