I am what I am

Contributed by Caged Soul on Wednesday, 5th October 2005 @ 05:36:52 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

I am what I am.

But how can me be me when me is not allowed?
Friends, family; gleaming with disapprove,
this notion I should remove from my mind
to reduce the shame I on them exude.

Two men sharing a bed, unbiblical, not natural,
even the animals know better.
Its a sin, they say; dont look at him that way.
Someday youll come to your senses,
visions of family, Doberman and white picket fences
they imprint.

Implying happiness ever after in heterosexuality solely exists

Hey there,
Being rejected isn't very bad... Why do you need someone's approval? Live free!
