Everything's so definite
What good are choices
When your mind is already set
Everything's so different
If you're never happy
What's the use of being upset
Love's always challenging
If you don't ever try
How can you say you know
Love's always unpredictable
Isn't that the reason
For rising up when you're below
Words sound so hurtful
You never meant them
But something made you say those lies
Words like lame excuses
I wouldn't really care
If there wasn't truth hiding in your eyes
