As i walk down a narrow path
lined with black trees of death
i hear a raven caw
calling me to my place of peace
red roses are ahead of me
i place my hand on the ground
near the roots of the plants
and they turn black as the
shadow of death that
haunts me everywhere i go
the shadow of a love gone astray
a shadow i can never get away from
the shadow of my fate
